It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Pedulla on September 5, 2016 at TBRHSC with his loving wife, children and family by his side.

Frank was born October 8, 1958 in Fort William. He went to Westgate Collegiate before attending Confederation College for business marketing.

Born into the family trade, Roma Bakery, he thrived with not only the baking and winemaking but also building professional and personal relationships over the years. This was mainly due to his charismatic nature.

To know Frank was to love him!

He always had a friendly smile and joke to share. He was the most generous and kindhearted soul you would ever encounter. Frank could be found at any given time socializing in his unofficial social office at Maltese Grocery.

When he wasn't busy delivering bread he was the official family photographer. He was the happiest when he was with family and friends for any occasion, especially San Martino.

Frank was a role model to all and he offered wisdom in every encounter. Frank was a patriarch to his family and his role in keeping our family close, even across great distances, was tremendous.

He organized a yearly hunting trip with all of his cousins, uncles, nephews, brothers, and friends, just as an opportunity to spend quality time with each other.

Frank married the love of his life Maria Teresa in July 1987.

They were partners in life and Maria could always be found at his side. They raised four amazing children who embodied their family values.

Frank was a family man and had a heart of gold. He always put others first before his own needs.

He would literally give you the shirt off his back.

His life lessons to everyone, especially his children, were that family comes first and always treat others with respect. If you were lucky enough to know Frank, he treated everyone as family.

Frank will be remembered by his loving wife Maria Teresa of 29 years, his children Domenic, Annamaria, Amanda, Daniel, his mother Maria and siblings, Teresa (Domenic) Commisso, Lina (Joe) Commisso, Joe, Julie (Ralph) DiBiagio, Domenic (Shannon) and Mirella (Salvatore) Lizzi. Mother and Father-in-law Ida and Domenic Figliomeni. Sisters-in-law Rosie (Barney) Vivirito, Rita (Tony) Romeo and Antonella Figliomeni. Brothers-in-law Nick (Anna) Figliomeni and Tony (Melanie) Figliomeni. Survived by many aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved as his own. He also will be remembered by the many friends he made throughout his life.

He was pre-deceased by his father Domenic, brother Salvatore and grandparents, Salvatore & Emilia Lizzi and Girolomo & Teresa Pedulla.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016, when family and friends will gather for the Funeral Mass in St. Agnes R.C. Church, 1019 Brown Street beginning at 2:30 pm celebrated by Rev. Jerin Louis.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 8th,  from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in St. Agnes R.C. Church where a Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board (TBCDSB) Awards Trust Fund for Frank Pedulla Memorial Scholarship/ Bursary to be established, would be greatly appreciated.
