Gabrielle was born on April 9, 1925, as one of a set of triplets, in Saint Zenon du Lac Humqui, Quebec to parents Seraphin and Seraphine Jean. Mom and Dad met in 1944, soon after Dad moved to Port Arthur, they married in June 1945 and spent 68 wonderful years together raising 7 children. Mom eventually worked as a dietary aid at the LPH until retirement in 1988.

Mom enjoyed golf with Dad and she enjoyed their weekly card night with family and friends, and an occasional trip to the casino.

Mom’s greatest joy was her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren…and was awaiting the arrival of #16.

Mom is greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Don (Dale), Guy (Elador), Georgette Andrusky, Doris Danelisky, Larry (Karen), Gordon (Lorraine), Valerie Gilbert, Mom’s sister Madeline Belisle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
