Garry Merrell Shewchuk passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Garry was born in Fort William on December 23, 1951 and lived in Thunder Bay, Ontario for his whole life.
Bimbo loved fishing and hunting and he was a real outdoorsman. He lived for his children, grandkids and many friends. Bimbo leaves behind his sons Aaron (Sarah) Shewchuk and Justin Shewchuk.
His grandchildren Farren, Jacob, Aaron and Suzannah Shewchuk. His brothers Gerry (Lois, Brandon) Shewchuk, Larry (Karen) Shewchuk and all his friends at the Landmark.
Bimbo was predeceased by his mother Elsie Lillian Shewchuk and his father Merrell Shewchuk as well as his uncle Bob. Cremation has taken place and a gathering will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Avenue, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with reception to follow at the Landmark Inn. All are welcome to attend.
