And Jesus said “I am the Resurrection and Life,
He who believes in Me shall live even if he dies” – John 11:25

With heavy hearts the Peterson family said goodbye to Georganne after a brief but courageous battle with illness.

Born and raised in Port Arthur, Georganne attended Cornwall School with her brothers Timmy and Danny and with her cousins Berry, Eugene and Carl.

Displaying entrepreneurial talent, she practiced her creativeness on her siblings. Later, with the arrival of baby brother Stephen, she delighted in motherly matters. As a young woman she excelled in secretarial skills.

Just as “Mummu” Evelyn was a special grandma to her, she was dearest “Gammy” to her Matthew’s Keiran, Emma, Leighton and “soon to be” Oaklyn.

To mourn and cherish her memory are her son Matthew (Courtney), her brothers Timmy (Michelle), Danny (Yvonne) and Stephen (Julie) as well as their families and numerous cousins. Her Auntie Elaine, Auntie Rita, Uncle Wilbert and her special friend Eva also survive.

Georganne was predeceased by her parents George and Gloria, her grandfather Krezenoski, grandparents Evelyn and Kalle and her Uncle Ollie (Jeannie).

A heartfelt thank you goes out to 2A at the TBRHSC for their considerate and kind care during this difficult time; and for Pastor Kevin Peltomaki’s compassionate ministry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday February 23rd, 2015 in the Elim Community Church which is located at 360 Black Bay Road in Current River. Interment will take place in the family plot at a later date.

But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God,
even to them who believe in His name. John 1:12
