Glen Currie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Currie on June 24, 2018, surrounded by his family.

A loving husband to Monika (nee Wozniak), father to David (Jenn), Dana (Craig), Michael and Carlie (Paul) and grandfather to Elliott, Seth and Violet. Glen is survived by his best friend Paddy Rhodes, sisters Judy (Gus), Nancy (Bruce), Ellen (David), brother Robert (Ruth), and brothers-in-law Mike and John.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Connie, brother Brian and niece Natalie. 

Glen was known for his sense of humour and his kind and generous heart. He loved spending summers at Marmion Lake, winters in Belize and the rest of his time in his garage. He was always happiest surrounded by his many great friends. 

Our family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at TBRHSC, Atikokan General and St. Joseph’s Care Group. Special thanks to nurses Jackie Kerr and Donna Leonzio for their wonderful care.

A celebration of Glen’s life will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Neebing Roadhouse at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Paws for Love Dog Rescue.
