Mr. Gregory Jerome Nabigon, age 36 years, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.
He was born in Marathon, Ontario on May 1, 1976 and was a lifetime member of the Ojibways of the Pic River First Nations. Greg enjoyed spending time with his children and family, participating and learning about his Native Culture, drumming and singing traditional songs and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his children: Julian, Creedan, Jesslene and Shashana Nabigon; mother Darlene Nabigon, brother Adrian and his children Joanne, Stephanie, Darian and Nelson, sister Josephine (Desmond) Desmoulin, sister Myrna and her son Curtis, brothers Eugene and Tyler, sister Ashley as well as by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his father Edward (1997), and grandparents Antoine and Clara Moses and Ruby and Camille Nabigon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 12 p.m. in the Pic River Community Centre with Rev. Milton McWatch presiding.
Visitation will be held in the Community Centre beginning on Thursday evening.
