Harriet Ash

Miss Harriet Jacqueline Ash, age 49 years, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Harriet was born on April 30, 1973 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. She worked in housekeeping in Thunder Bay and work camps. She loved attending powwows, camping, fishing, rabbit snaring, trapping and spending time with family and friends.

Harriet will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Mauriet (Mary) Ash, Felix Wassaykeesic (Shanelle Baxter), Shaw-baa Ash and Samuel Ash; grandchildren: Brooklyn Baxter-Wassaykeesic, Jocelyn Wassaykeesic and Madilyn Wassaykeesic; siblings: Rita Ash, Jackie Ash, Bonnie Muckuck, Eliza Kwiash, Amis Keetash, Lilly Keetash, Lannie Keetash, Julia Keetash and Jennie Muckuck; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her spouse Ben Achneepineskum, parents: Samuel Keetash and Sarah (Kwandibens) Ash, siblings: Thomas Ash, Elizabeth Skunk, Ronald Ash, Victoria Ash, Daniel Ash, Daniel Keetash, Penny Skunk, Jonas Keetash.
