It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we regretfully share the sudden, unexpected passing of our beloved husband, dad and grandad.

Robert (Bob) Harvey. He was a hard working, quiet, keep to himself kind of man, who would do anything for his girls or anyone that needed a hand. He immigrated from England to Thunder Bay in 1987 with his wife Hilary and his 2 daughters Donna and Kelly. Rob loved to travel . He looked forward every year to driving out to Airdrie, AB to bring his granddaughter Kaile back home after she spent the summers in Thunder Bay. It marked the end of summer and fun and exciting adventures with his daughter Donna and son in law Joel. He enjoyed fishing, golf, taking Hilary for boat rides, and puttering around in his garage making things for his girls. He was a man who wore many hats and he wore them very well. He also enjoyed spending time at Obonga Lake with his daughter Kelly, son-in-law Gary and granddaughters Alexa and Sophia, where he enjoyed pontoon rides, quad rides and taking the side by side on the back trails. Every November, around the 5th he would go to his brother Graham and Kathies house for bonfire night. He loved seeing how big the bonfire would get and all of the food and goodies that were there. Rob/Dad we could go on forever talking about wonderful, amazing, kind, caring, strong,hard-working,a great friend, best husband and worlds best dad and grandad. God really did break the mold when you were born. No one will ever fill your shoes.

Rob, will be forever missed and loved by his wife of 42.5 years Hilary, his daughter Donna (Joel), daughter Kelly (Gary), granddaughters Kaile, Alexa and Sophia. His brother Graham (Kathie). You were taken from us too soon. There were so many adventures left but we know that you will be there alongside each and everyone that we take. Goodnight God bless. xx

As per Rob's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. His family will have a private gathering.  Arrangements are in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street.  On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
