Mr. Henry “Hank” Ottley, age 92, of Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away on December 14, 2020, in St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.

Hank was born November 8, 1928 to Arthur and Elsie Ottley in Fort William, Ontario. He grew up in Rosslyn playing sports with his mates from the neighbourhood. He spent some time in the Air Force where he met Adele, who was to be the love of his life. Together they settled down in his family home in Rosslyn to raise a family. Hank was known for his quick wit and cheeky smirk. He worked various jobs until he got on with the city, where he was a grader operator till his retirement. He loved his garden, sports and spending his summers at Graham Lake with family and friends.

Hank will be missed by his children Arthur Ottley (Norma Kirchen), Richard Nyszczuk (Christine) of Ardrossan, AB, Monique Adams (Randy) of Selkirk, MB, and Marie-Jeanne Bunn (David Kubisewsky) of Kenora, ON.

Also mourning his passing are his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren: Sydney-Jean Ottley (Mike), Alysha Ottley, Michelle Lozer ( children: Zoey, Theodore, Averie), Craig DesRosiers, Terrance DesRosiers, Bill Turcotte (children: Charis, Kennedy), Treena Turcotte, Bill Nyszczuk (Bobbie; children Tristan, Peyton), Brooks Nyszczuk (Carly; children: Ty, Quinn), Desirée Bunn (Joel Fullmer; son Cameron), Chantel Hyatt (Morgan; children Marshall, MacKenzie), James Bunn (Belinda Chicago; daughters Giselle, Emmersyn),

Hank was predeceased by his wife of 50 yrs, Adele in 2014; his parents Arthur and Elsie, brother Donald Ottley; brother-in-law Scottie Dunn; nephew Calvin Ottley.

As per Hank's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life in the summer of 2021 for family and friends.
