Henry (Heinz) Kutzler passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Born February 18, 1923 in Rosice, Czechoslovakia. Married Gertrude Anna Pfennig in 1946. They immigrated to Canada in 1952 where he pursued a career in Forestry, developed and built Kakabeka Timber in O’Connor Township and later was active travelling in International Forestry development.
In retirement he enjoyed hobby farming, gardening, grafting fruit trees and joined the Rural 55 Plus where he was a master at wood carving.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Ernst and Maria, in laws, Paul and Anna, Daughter Karla in 1982 and son Hubert (Bert) in 1994.
He will be sadly missed by wife Gert of 70 years, daughter Annie (Daniel), grandchildren, Kristopher (Ashley), Jessica, Angelene (Ryan) and Jennifer. Also by his great-grandchildren whom he always enjoyed spending time with.
Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will take place at Jenkens Funeral Chapel at a later date.
