Herbert Francis McCubbin

Herbert Francis McCubbin (Himalaya Herbert) passed away peacefully June 13 at Hogarth Riverview Manor, age 79. Herbert was one of Thunder Bay's best hockey players having played for the Columbus Club Canadians. Herb was also well known for his prowess on the snooker and billiard table. Herb is predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Marion, his loving aunt Mary and brother-in-law Stephen Broady.

Herbert is survived by his dear sister Maureen, nephew Steven (Carolyn), niece Kira(Peter)and grandchildren, Kendall, Nicholas, Broady and Ryan and Michaela.

Family and friends wish to thank the staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor for their excellent care of Herb.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre,
332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
