It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle on December 3, 2015 at 80 years of age.

Dig was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Agnes (nee Flynn), his sister Alice Hogan, brother and sister-in-law Reginald and Marg and brother Albert.

He is survived by his sister Agnes Rooney, brother-in law Bob Rooney, sister-in-law Dorothy Hogan and three generations of nephews and nieces.

Dig was a long time employee of Abitibi-Price, Fort William Division.  He enjoyed life to the fullest – travelling often to the sunny south, socializing with family and friends and going to casinos.  He liked nice cars, clothes and fine dining as well.

He always had a positive outlook on life no matter what came his way.  The family wishes to thank the staff at TBRHSC ICU for their care during his brief stay before his passing.

As per Dig’s wishes, cremation followed by a private graveside service with immediate family will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Association or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Hubert Hogan will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
