It is with great sadness that the family of Ida Mary Trevisan announces her passing on April 15, 2016 at the age of 85.
A beloved sister and aunt, family was of the utmost importance to Ida as were her friends and church. She shared the family home with her brother Joey “Hammer”, maintaining the loving centre where family gathered for holidays and special occasions.
With her friends, Nella, Theresa, and Shirley, Ida travelled widely. Ida was employed at Merchants and later Resolute Forest products until her retirement in 1990. In her spare time she enjoyed Scrabble, slot machines, and was a dedicated crossword puzzler.
She is survived by her brother John (Terri) of Saskatoon along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Peter; her siblings, Canary (Doris); Inez (Benjamin) Canzi; Anne (Joseph) Canzi; Irma (Gino) Tofinetti; Anthony and Joseph.
Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to prayers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 19, 2016, at Blake Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass at St Peter’s Catholic Church, on April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Ida Trevisan will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
