It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Agosto, a resident of Crescent Avenue, announces her passing in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Friday, September 11, 2015.
Irene was born in Angusville, Manitoba, moving to Fort William, Ontario with her parents and siblings as a young girl. She was employed by Sears in her later years.
Irene will be sadly missed by her husband Licio Agosto; granddaughters Cathy, Barbara, Carolyn and Susan, Calgary, Alberta; nephews Bobby and Donald, Chicago, Illinois, and Ron, Shuniah, Ontario.
Irene was predeceased by her son Jim Ward; parents Anna and John Olynick; brothers Bill and Donald Olynick; and sister Nettie Clabertt.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, presided by Rev. Msgr. P. M. Stilla, V.G. of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery will follow the reception. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.
