Heaven announces the arrival of another Saint.
Irene Kanak of Lantzville, BC passed away at age 95 at the Nanaimo Hospital on March 31, 2022. She is with Jesus her Lord and Savior, her husband Nick and all of her dear friends and relatives who have passed on before her.
Survived by her son Mickey (Eleanor) Kanak of Thunder Bay, ON and their children Yvonne (Jeremy) Wupori of Lorette, MB and Keith (Judit) Kanak of Calgary, AB; her daughter Sandra (Larry) Stagg of Lantzville, BC and their children Tim Stagg and Robin (Brit) Parkin of Nanaimo, BC; her daughter Judy Doumont of Nanaimo, BC and her children Neely, Carlo and Joel from the Lower Mainland, BC. Irene also left behind 15 great grandchildren and one sister Phylis Egeland of Nanaimo, BC.
A Celebration of Life for Irene Kanak will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Harbourview Funeral Centre. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time starting at 10:00 a.m.
