Irene Shebobbman

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Irene Shebobbman, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Irene passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday November 9th, 2022 at St. Joseph Care Group.

Irene was born on May 6, 1956 to her parents Toussant and Rose Shebobbman. She spent her childhood years in Kashabowie and settled in Thunder Bay, ON. Irene had a great love for being outdoors and spending time with family. She enjoyed walking, doing puzzles, and sitting around a fire with loved ones.

Irene was predeceased by her parents Toussant and Rose, brothers Adam, Arnold, Roy, Ronnie, Edward and sister Nora. She is also predeceased by Shelley’s father Alex Morin. She is survived by her daughter Shelley (Kari) and grandchildren, Kayla (Nick), Erica and Noah and long-time partner Doug. She is survived by her 7 sisters, Shirley (Richard), Julie (Bill), Frances, Linda, Doris (Rick), Theresa (Larry) and Joanie (Daniel) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for the late Irene Shebobman will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Tuesday November 15 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00am.
