It is with great sadness that the family of Irma Grace Kryluk announce her passing on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Irma was born on June 9, 1926 to David (DL) and Della Wilson on a small farm in Saskatchewan. After graduating high school, Irma attended secretarial school in Regina. Soon after, Irma found her way to Fort William via a relative. She met her future husband Vic when she attended one of his Fort William Beavers hockey games. They were married on November 6, 1954. Irma and Vic enjoyed travelling and saw many parts of the world throughout their 64 years of marriage. Irma’s career with the Lakehead Board of Education spanned 24 years.

Irma is survived by her husband Vic. Also left to celebrate her life, are her two daughters Cheryl and Kelly (Lyn) and her son Craig (Linda). Grandchildren Michael (Kate), Julia, Sean and Matthew (Jessica). Sister Beryl and brother Glen. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bethammi Nursing Home for their patience, kindness and caring manner. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place and interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make donations in memory of Irma to the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Thunder Bay.
