James Howard Quaid

My father Jim Quaid has passed away. He lived life on his terms and died with no regrets.

I never new his family and really hate pretending. In Thunder Bay, his friends became his family. Teddy, Joe, Bruce, and Lenny, he really respected you guys and you never left his thoughts.

His wife Marilyn Boyko was his true love. She made Jimmy a James. He definitely wasn't a conventional father but he never chose the party over his children. Poor Dad was surrounded by girls but he sucked it up.

My sister Kim and I were devoted to Dad and I feel proud to say he was my Dad.

Dawn and Shannon were just as loved and Marilyn and her girls gave dad the chance to be a good family man.

There will be no funeral as per his wishes but to honor my father own what you are, don't wuss out, be of your word and live life on your terms. I can't think of what he'd want more for the world.
