Jane Lynn Tom, aged 56 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017 in Thunder Bay.
Jane was born in Stitzer, Wisconsin on November 21, 1960. She was married in 1984 and later separated in 1995. She was employed as a Sunday School Teacher. Jane attended college and the Bemidji State University to pursue her BA in Political Science and a bachelor’s degree.
Jane loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching movies with them and having sleepovers with the grandkids. Jane was a beautiful, strong and kind-hearted woman who was very traditional. She attended pow-wow, healing circles, and sweat lodges.
She is survived by her son Colin Morgan Tom (Veronica Skunk), daughter Turquoise Gem Morgan Tom (Rob McFarland) and Tomisina Morgan Tom; ex-husband Colin Tom Sr; grandchildren Shiloh Skunk, Emery Tom, Jada Tom, Mya Blais-Tom and Milan Tom; brother Antoine Weber and Catherine Weber. Predeceased by her mother Elva Jane Weber, father Donald Morgan and step-father Marvin Weber.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home.
