Janet Tribe

It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Janet Tribe on Sunday, April 11th 2021 at the age of 86 years.

Janet was predeceased by her loving husband Martyn and now joins him again in a restful place. She will be remembered by so many including her children, Donald (Judy), Bruce, Murray (Charlotte), Keith (Mary) Sandra (Dan). Grandchildren David, Katie (Vince), Mark (predeceased), Keighley (Scott), Matt (Amy), Erin (Harry), Danielle, Jessica (Tylor) and 7 great grandchildren.

Janet was born and raised in Norman, Ont., but Thunder Bay was where Janet and Martyn created a wonderful family home. Janet engaged in many community events and donated her endless energy to many charities. She had a passion for travel in her early years but her happy place was at the camp on Trout Lake where family gathered and created so many treasured memories.

We would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Center, and Blake Funeral Chapel for all their support throughout this difficult time. With the challenges of these uncertain times the family will be celebrating their Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma’s life in private, and thank everyone for so many condolences and prayers.
