Janice Everell Babcock (Hurley) passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the age of 69.
Janice was actively involved in the food preparation and service industry for several years one of which being Beacon Hill Lodge. She worked hard and took pride in her job. Janice had a passion for knitting and made numerous blankets and scarves for her loved ones. She cherished her friendships to Louise, Darlene, Sandy and Lorraine just to name a few. You all meant the world to her.
Janice is survived by her daughter Jodi (Bryan) McGauley and their children Brianna and Alyssa, by her son Adam (Sari) Babcock and their children Kennedy, Dante and Sierra, sister Bonnie (Joseph) Cane and sister-in-law Nellie Hurley as well as numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Janice is predeceased by her mother Dorothy, father Ernest, brother Alan and nephew Marc.
A celebration of Janice’s life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Rooster’s Bistro, 23 St. Paul Street. Interment of Ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the CNIB.
