It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jarrett Ernie Elliott Mckay, 25, of Bearskin Lake ON, at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on December 5, 2017. He was born on August 17, 1992 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Jarrett loved to spend time with his family, especially with his cousins, and many friends in Bearskin Lake, Sioux Lookout and in Thunder Bay.
Jarrett is survived by his mother Joyce, his auntie Julie, cousin/brother Walter (Megan), and numerous cousins including Nicholas, Gideon, Rachel, Brittany, Sabrina, John, Catherine, Aaron, William, Lawson, Vivian, and Grace. He is also survived by his uncles Rev. Howard Mckay (Jessie), Chief Rodney Mckay (Edna), and Henry Mckay (Phyllis).
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 2 pm followed by the service from 3 – 4 pm. Funeral and interment to follow in Bearskin Lake at St. Peter’s Anglican Church on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
