Passed away on July 17, 2021 in her 93rd year.  Born March 8, 1929 to Mary and Robert Landversitch in Hymers. Attended Hymers P. School, Fort William Collegiate and Selkirk High School. Jean worked at the Unemployment Insurance Office, T.B. Bearings, Crane Ltd. And G.H. Wood & Co. Ltd. For 23 years. 

 She married Gordon R. Couch in Hymers on September 11, 1948.  Lived for a short time in South Gillies and then moved to Thunder Bay and resided there until 1986 when they moved to Kingsville, Ontario. They returned to Thunder Bay in 1993.  

Jean is predeceased by her sister May Winters and her brother Blake Landversitch.  As per her wishes, Jean has been cremated.  Due to COVID19 restrictions, interment will be held privately at a later date.    The family would like to thank the staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor for the excellent and compassionate care that they gave Jean in her final days.  It is very much appreciated.  Memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to a charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be made at Jenkensfuneral.ca
