Jean Sato

Mrs. Jean Sato, age 90 years, passed away on January 23, 2023 at TBRHSC, with family by her side.

Jean was born on October 6, 1932 in Montreal. She worked for The John Howard Society retiring after 20 years of service.

She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Ginger and her children’s father Joseph.

Jean is sadly missed and survived by her daughters Cindy (Paul Dusk) Kara and Stacey, Stephanie (Ray Merilainen) and Melissa, Barbara (Lorenz Bosinger) and Brandon, and son Chris (Sherry) and Keith. Jean is also survived by her brother Wayne Hodges (Joan) and family as well as her special friend Ron.

The family is grateful for and thanks the team of support workers and health care professionals who helped Jean through these last few years.

Jean was a champion of the underdog and the less privileged and would prefer donations to a charity of choice, if anyone wishes.

Funeral services will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11 am.
