It is with profound and heartfelt sadness that the family of Jim (James) Edment Stewart, age 79, announces his sudden passing away on Saturday May 30, 2015 in the TBRHSC with his family by his side.

Jim will be deeply loved, sadly missed and never forgotten especially by Janet, his beloved wife of 41 years; his children: Allen (Bobby), Gwen, Jimmy, Kim Prochnicki (Jeff), Richard Sherlock (Heidi); his grandchildren: Cody, Alana, Braedan, Daniele, Abby, Timmy, Benny; his sister-in-laws: Louise Stewart and Kathy Frosberg; brother-in-laws: Charles Melvin and Lance Frosberg; nephew David; nieces: Kathy, Jade and Bailey. Jim was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Archibald and his brother Tom.

Jim was very passionate, giving, loyal and loving to his family and friends. He was a very hard worker who was dedicated to and took pride in everything he did. He was truly the backbone of his family.

Jim was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan on October 1, 1935. In 1952, at the age of 17 years, Jim started working at S & J Hill and Sons. In 1957, at the age of 22 years, he began his life-long career at Lakehead Motors where he worked his way up to the position of Parts Manager and became like family to the Comuzzi family. Jim retired in 2002 after 47 years. After a brief time away, Jim returned back to work at Lakehead Motors until his passing.

Jim had a flare for living life to the fullest and loved to enjoy a "Good Meal". He enjoyed fly in fishing trips and golfing with his co-workers and good friends. He also enjoyed his beloved dogs Klupa and Zaina.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus, 301 May Street South, from 12 - 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers if desired, donations can be made to the TBRHSC-Cath Lab and Humane Society.

"Hun, I will love and miss you forever. You were my Rock".
Love, Janet
