Joan Brady

Joan Brady, resident of the P. R. Cook Apartments passed away peacefully on March 5, 2017 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Joan was born in Moosehorn, Manitoba on November 15, 1921. She married Fred Brady in 1942 and together they moved to Port Arthur, Ontario where they raised their four children.

Helping others, gardening and nature brought her great joy. She loved reading and keeping up with current events.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, husband Fred, grand-daughter Erin Luby and son-in-law Ernie Rumpel.

She is survived by her daughters Carole Rumpel, Debra Kleemola (Dan), sons Keith Brady and Grant Brady, daughter-in-law Sheryl Smith, grandchildren Janna DiPinto, Susan Gould, Ernie Rumpel, Kirk Brady, Ryan Brady, Jordan Brady, Adam Brady, Daniel Brady and their families as well as sisters, brothers and extended family in British Columbia and Oakville, Ontario.

As per Mom's wishes there will be no funeral. Private burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
