Joan Turcotte

Mrs. Joan Turcotte, age 98, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021, in Hogarth Riverview Manor, with family at her side.

Joan was born on June 1, 1922, in Port Arthur, Ontario. She enjoyed a good life spending summers at her beloved Birch Beach home with her family and many friends. She loved playing bridge and shopping, especially at yard sales.

Joan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Jamie Turcotte, daughter, Lesley Kallio (Stewart), grandchildren Heather Desando (Jason), Jocelyn Gannon (Lindsay), Mathew Kallio (Jamie), Jamie Kallio (Adriana), Sarah Viljanmaa (James) and great grandchildren Nolan, Addison, Liam, Cooper, Sydney, Brenna, Lucas, Sam, Andrew, Mason and Isla.

Joan was predeceased by her husband, Roland Turcotte and her sister Barbara Lindberg (Don).

Due to current gathering restrictions, Services for Joan will be held privately for family at Riverside Cemetery on Friday, April 9, 2021. Please visit www.harbourviewfuneral.ca to view the services live at 11:00 a.m. or you may watch at a later time as it will be archived on the same site.
