John Derrick Kostick

John Derrick Kostick, age 62, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. 

John was born on April 20, 1956 in Fort William. He was a member of Unifor Local 1075, which started his career at Bombardier on May 21, 1974, which he held jobs of general painter, finisher and oiler. John retired May 2011 after work 37 great years at the local plant.

John will sadly be missed by his wife Janice; son’s James (Jena), John (Tiffany), Justin (Michelle); brothers Ken (Cathy) and Rick (Wendy); sisters Karen and Michelle (Kevin); granddaughters Grace, Ashlee, Alexandra, Caylee and Madison; grandsons Tyler, Brayden, Lincoln; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Geraldine Kostick.

As per Johns wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in John’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
