Etienne John Patrick of Neebing Township passed away peacefully September 16th after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was survived by his wife Petra of 38 years; two sons, Terence and Robert (Shannon) both of Thunder Bay; five grandchildren Gavin, Adrian, Lilly, Logan and Peyton who will dearly miss their Grandpa; 4 brothers Wayne (Karen) Haines City Florida, Mike (Joni) Lacombe Alberta, Larry, Calgary and Bill of Thunder Bay; aunt Carol Geddes, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Born 08/17/1950 in Port Arthur John attended Hammarskjold High and Lakehead University before going west where he met and married his true love Petra. They later returned with their two sons to Thunder Bay where they chose to raise their family.
A celebration of John’s life will be held this Thursday the 20th at Oliver Road Community Centre, Thunder Bay from 1 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be dropped off at the Celebration which will be presented to the Thunder Bay Cancer Care Centre in John’s
