Josee Charbonneau

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Josee Louise Charbonneau. Josee suddenly passed away on February 13, 2023 in Thunder Bay at the age of 25.

Josee was born on October 2 1997, to Yan and Sharon Charbonneau. She was unforgettable when you met her. Anyone who did would say that there was an instant connection. She touched countless hearts and had so much love to give. She had an unforgettable laugh and beautiful smile that will live in the hearts of everyone forever. She has touched many hearts and will continue to do so.

Josee is survived by her son Jaxson Mathieu, whom she loved and cherished; her father Yan (Shannon); mother Sharon; and brothers Mathieu, Mikey and Anthony; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. She is predeceased by her older brother Jorden Atkinsen-Leathorn.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the North End Recreational Centre, 954 Huron Avenue in Thunder Bay, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
