Joseph Earl LeMesurier

Mr. Joseph Earl LeMesurier age 87 years, a resident of Hogarth Riverview Manor passed away with family by his side at his residence on Monday, February 12, 2018. A resident of the Lakehead for fifty years, Earl moved here to work for Great Lakes Forest Products. He started there as a laborer and retired a supervisor after 27 years with the company. Earl was a member of Corpus Christi R.C. Church for 50 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Regis St. James Council 9295 and the Father Baxter Assembly of the 4th Degree. Earl was also a 50 year member of the Moose Lodge. An avid fishermen, Earl enjoyed spending his free time fishing with family and friends.

Earl will be lovingly remembered by Mariette, his wife of almost 60 years, children Paul (Maureen) and Lynda Boshcoff, grandchildren: Jessica, Alecia, Maggie and Alexander, son-in-law Tom Boshcoff, sisters: Alma, Rosalie, Stella, Anora, Valerie and brother Kevin, special niece and nephew Sherry Floren Picard and Chris Picard. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was predeceased by his parents Randolph and Yvonne LeMesurier, sister Mary and two brothers in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 when family and friends will gather in Corpus Christi R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 am, celebrated by Rev. Victor DeGagne. Cremation to follow with entombment in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with a Vigil Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 pm. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
