Mrs. Joy Clabertt (nee Stenback), age 78 years, resident of Shuniah, Ontario, passed away peacefully at TBRHSC on March 8, 2017.
She was raised and educated in Fort William. Joy was employed as a bookkeeper and retired in 2003 from Keating Insulation.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ron; children Holly (Jim) Grant, and Barry (Linda) Clabertt; grandchildren Alexa Grant, Taylor and Carissa Clabertt; sister Gay (Greg) Cambly and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed her retirement years on Lake Superior hosting gatherings for family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date this spring.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Foundation of Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated by the family.
