Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Joyce Marguerite Adduono of Thunder Bay passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.

Born in November 26, 1935 in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Joyce passed away after many long courageous battles with numerous medical issues. Miraculously, she was the longest kidney transplant patient in Canada’s history.

Joyce worked tirelessly as a stay at home Mom to her 6 children also working several part-time jobs in the same period. She was a masterful cook teaching her daughters and daughter-in-laws how to cook the best spaghetti sauce and veal cutlets in town. Later in life, Joyce loved being a “food critic” dining out at various restaurants. Joyce was a member of the Elks Purple Ladies and the St. Agnes Catholic Women’s League. As a valued member of the Superior Bowladrome ladies league, Joyce had a unique way of throwing her bowling ball halfway down the aisle before landing. She loved playing cards and going to sewing and ceramic classes.

In addition to these past-times her most favourite was shopping for herself; her children; and her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her husband Herb (Allan) Adduono, her 6 children; Jerry Adduono (Brenda); Rick Adduono (Melanie); Debbie Milani (Tom); Peter Adduono (Carol); Patti Exell (Bill) and Ken Adduono (Rhonda).
