Judith Wanzuk

On February 2nd, an angel was called to Heaven.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the family of Judith Valerie Wanzuk announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and great grandmother.

After a courageous battle with cancer, she is now free of pain and suffering. On Nov. 04th, 1946, Judy was welcomed into the world by her parents Edward and Matilda Hoard. Judith was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay.

She met her soulmate Nicholas Wanzuk whom she deeply adored and loved. Judy and Nick were married for 56 years. They were blessed with two loving children, Robert and Cindy whom they loved and adored. Together as a family they spent many summers at Northern Lights Lake camping, as well as many vacations to Disney.

Judy's favourite pass times were Bingo, camping, family B.B.Q's at the family home at Rob's, watching her soap Y & R, and watching Leafs hockey games.

Judy had the biggest heart. She was so caring, and giving and her big smile lit up the room. Her family was her life, they are what made her the happiest.

Judy was blessed to have two beautiful grandchildren, Katelyn and Christopher who loved her dearly.

Judy was also a very proud great-grandmother to Ariya and Cohen. They were the light of her life.

A special thank you to all mom's neighbors, Donna, Gina, Linda, Shirley and Gwen. Thank you for all your help and concern for mom and being there for Dad when mom was in the hospital.

A big thank you to Aunty Nancy for making sure we had coffee and food after an early morning.

We are blessed to have all of you in our lives.
