June Marion Hewson

June Marion Hewson, aged 87, of Thunder Bay, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice on September 30, 2015.

Born in Fort William on June 24, 1928 to Pearl and Andy Hewson. June is survived by her sons Michael Nebesnuik, George and Kenneth Bourdeau; daughters Judith McLean and Sharlene Bourdeau.

Also survived by brother William (Janice) Hewson; sisters Janet Hewson, Lorna (Ernie) Morrison and Andrea Hewson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Katherine June Bourdeau (1973), George Bourdeau (1974), Michael Nebesnuik Sr. (1952), sister Evelyn Partington (2014) and her parents. Respecting June’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Her Life will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of June may be made to the Thunder Bay Humane Society.
