Karen Marie Kwandibens passed away on March 17, 2022 at 47 years old. She left us too early but with many cherished memories and blessings.

Karen was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born to parents Roger and Doreen Nawagijick on June 11, 1975 of Kiashke Zaaging Anishinabek/Gull Bay First Nation. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic High School. Karen loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals such as ribs, shepherds pie and lasagna to name a few. Most of all her family kept her busy and happy. Her interests included reading, watching movies and out for strolls.

Karen was immensely proud of her family, her best accomplishments were her children Ryley, Georgina, Jericho, Sabastien. Karen will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love.

Karen is survived by her children Ryley, Jericho, Sabastien and her granddaughter Alena, her brother Roger Nawagijick, nephew Roger Jr. and niece Madison. Also, she deeply loved her grand-auntie Helen Nowegejick, aunt Yvette (Rick), uncle Andrew (Bertha), and Loretta. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and community.
