Kauko Vanska

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kauko Kalevi Vanska on Monday, October 10, 2022.

Kauko and his family immigrated to Port Arthur, Ontario in 1967. He worked very hard to provide for his family a comfortable life in Canada.

Kauko is survived by his wife Raili; daughter Kirsi, son-in-law Alan, grandsons Jesse and Nolan; daughter-in-law Ginette and grandsons Sam, Marc, Eric and Kai; Kauko is the oldest of four, he leaves behind 2 brothers Aimo and Ismo and sister Irma in Finland. He was predeceased by his son Vesa.

We are truly grateful to the wonderful care and compassion by the staff at Bethammi Long Term Care. Thank You.
