Ken Glauser, age 61 years, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2017, at the TBRHSC, with his wife and niece by his side.

Ken grew up in the Hanover/Ayton area and moved to Thunder Bay in 1979. During this time he was employed with Pitts Engineering and Iron Range Bus Lines. He joined The Fort City Kinsmen in 1983 and became a life member in 1993. Besides spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed travelling, giving back to his community, swimming, golfing, and staying current with the latest technology.

Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beth, their dogs Cheech and Chong, his niece Joslyn, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Brenda and Harvey Maes, dear friend Lynn Geraldes, brother Richard and partner Vickie, nephews Terry and Adam, and god-children Mekaal and Chris Swerhun, and many dear friends.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Irvine and Laurene, in-laws Elmer and Gertrude Becker, god-son Colin Pfeffer, and brother-in-law John Mills.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, presided by Rev. Ed Long. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Ken be made to The Heart and Stroke foundation, and The Thunder Bay Humane Society.

His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
