Ken Gorrell

Mr. Ken Gorrell passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family in St. Joseph's Hospice, on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Ken worked various jobs over the years and enjoyed playing darts in many tournaments. He also enjoyed visiting his family and spending time with them.

He is survived by his son Shane Gorrell (Mandy), daughter Twyla Godwin (Ryan), grandson Cody Godwin. Siblings Melody Ferguson (Bill), Del Gorrell (Jan), Caroline Goulding (Ross), Dewayne Gorrell (Noella), Bill Gorrell, Dale Gorrell (Jolene), Penny Fitzpatrick, Trudy Kostynick. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Thora Hazel Gorrell, his father Wylie Gorrell, and sister-in-law Jeannie Gorrell.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for Ken will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in St. Anne’s Church. Interment will take place prior to service at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  If friends desire, memorials to the Thunder Bay Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
