Kevin W. Bellin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly at his home July 13, 2018.

He was born November 17, 1961 in Port Arthur and lived his whole life in Thunder Bay, attending school locally. He always regretted not completing high school and was so proud to get his GED certificate in 2010. He held many jobs in his lifetime, most notably The Canadian Grain Commission, Tom MacDonald Fuels, Trimac Transportation, as a civilian support staff to the Canadian Forces on the Khandahar base in Afghanistan, and most recently Bombardier Transportation.

He was a devoted husband to Nancy (Fieten) whom he married on December 28, 1985 and together they raised two sons. He was so happy to see them settled with lovely wives of their own.

Kevin was gifted mechanically and frequently used this talent to help friends and family members. He was always ready to lend a hand when someone needed assistance with anything. Kevin loved to laugh and could always come up with an appropriately funny meme to share on any topic. He was a non-conformist and marched to the beat of his own drum. He loved his wildly patterned shirts.

Kevin is survived by his wife Nancy, children Vaughn (Meghan) and Corey (Sarah), grandsons Maddox and Finn; his mother Heather Nelson; brothers Shane, Rob (Sandra), Trevor (Nicole), Rory, and Eric (Beth); father Wayne Bellin and sister Tammy. Also survived by mother-in-law Coby Fieten, sisters-in-law Janette and Heather and brother-in-law Curtis and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation for Kevin Bellin will be held at Blake Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Christian Reformed Church, 75 Walkover Street, Wednesday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marg Rekman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to The Gathering Place. https://thegatheringplacetbay.ca

Kevin Bellin will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 9, 2019.
