With great sadness we announce the passing of the extraordinary Kim Hansen. Kim died peacefully in his home on December 12th, 2019.
Kim was an entertainer, a father, a son, a nephew, a cousin and a friend to many. He was born in Fort William, Ontario on August 28, 1953 to the late June and Tor Hansen. Kim was an accomplished actor, director, writer, musician, visual artist, master puppeteer and all-around star of stage and screen. He worked with many production companies both locally and abroad, including his own, Masterfeast Dinner Theatre in the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel.
Kim will truly be missed by his cat Junie (RIP Pyro and Smudge) and all those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 2nd at 7pm in the Dawson Room at The Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a local animal rescue agency.
