Kim Melanie Rigo (Nicholson), born March 3, 1971, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2015 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. 

Kim attended local schools, graduating from Westmount, Westgate, and later Confederation College.  Kim loved her family, especially her four children, more than anything in the world.  She enjoyed traveling and camping with her family and her trips to Las Vegas with her husband Michael. 

She also enjoyed watching all of her children’s activities and sports.  Kim is survived by her husband Michael, her four children Landyn, Piper, Chloe, and Devan, her mother Shirley Nicholson, sisters Gail (Karl), Maureen (Mark), and brothers Randy (Angie), Ross (Pam), and Brad (Margaret), her mother-in-law Janet Rigo, and sister-in-law Carla Gammond (Sam). 

Kim was predeceased by her grandparents, her father Murray Nicholson, and her father-in-law Dario Rigo, as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous other relatives. 

A special thank-you to Doctors Hadad and Stallwood, all the nurses in ICU, as well as Bronajh for all her help and support. 

As per Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House Toronto or TBRHSC would be appreciated.

Kim Rigo will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
