Kyllikki Robert
Mrs. Kay (Kyllikki) Robert passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2019 at her home in The Walford. Kay was born in Thunder Bay where she lived all her life except for a short period in Toronto. She worked at several bush camps, later working at Lords Pharmacy, Mt McKay Feed and the Post Office.

She loved fishing, camping and enjoyed bowling with her husband Marc. She also loved to do crafts, knitting and crochet. As time went on, her favorite past time was to play crib at the 55 Plus Centre with Sylvia Boyd, Margaret Pasto and numerous friends.

In her later years she went on a lot of cruises, which she especially enjoyed. As a child living in Kaministiquia, Kay had fond memories of her school years, walking or skiing with Margaret the four miles to Alppila School.

Kay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. She is also survived by numerous cousins in Finland and Sweden.

Kay was predeceased by her husband Marc in 1995, and by her parents Victor and Salma Manninan at a young age.

Funeral Services for Kay will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Harbourview Funeral Centre presided by Rev. Jari Lahtinen. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay`s memory to Toys for Tots.
