Larry Joseph Gagnon

Mr. Larry Joseph Gagnon, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 70 years. Born in Mobert on May 16, 1951, he spent his early years there before moving to Thunder Bay. Larry was passionate about music, and loved to play guitar and go square dancing. He enjoyed travelling and was able to enjoy trips to places like Rome, Nashville and Memphis. Larry possessed a big heart and gave without expectation of receiving anything in return.

He worked at Hemlo Mine before moving to Dilico where he continued his giving ways through helping the youth of the community. Larry loved to laugh and there was never a dull moment when he was enjoying the company of family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his partner Dehlia, children: Bryce, Chance, Collin, Roseanne, and Louis, 3 grandchildren, brothers Gordon and Fred, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, August 18th from 12-2 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Home. The Funeral service in Pic Mobert will be held on Friday August 20th followed by the interment.
