Larry Weselak passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2017.

He was born in Thunder Bay and was a lifelong resident.  Larry had a great love for the outdoors and spent many years hunting and fishing with his father Alex, his son Christian, his hunting pal Jack, his brother-in-laws Larry and Ron, and his fishing cousin Jim. This gave him great pleasure and happiness.  

Larry was an avid runner and walker in his former years and he and his family were very proud of his several finishes in the local 10 Mile Road Races. Larry worked for CPRail for 38 years before enjoying an early retirement. "Every day is mine" he would say.! Larry was the son of Alex and Patricia Weselak who predeceased him several years ago.

He is survived by his children Christian, Kimberley and her husband Reynald, Eliott his first grandbaby, Millie the mother of his children, brother George and wife Karen and his good friend Irene. He is survived as well by numerous nieces and nephews.  

A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Blake's Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Msgr. PM  Stilla VG. Donations to the local Alzheimer's Society or the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.  

Dad we thought of you with love today But that is nothing new. We often speak your name Now all we have is memories God has you in his keeping We have you in our hearts forever.  

Lawrence Weselak will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 10, 2018
