We are saddened to announce the passing of Lawrence Patrick Madigan in Calgary, Alberta on January 24, 2023.
He leaves behind his wife Sharyl, son Todd (Tracey Coultis), granddaughter Hailey, brothers Connie and Brian (Sheila), sister June Nahkala (Allen) and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Edna and Con and granddaughter Dakota.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed cruising in his ‘36 Chev coupe and seeing as many Sprint Car races as he could. Because his chosen field of work took him all over Canada he has left behind many friends outside Thunder Bay and Calgary. He will be missed.
An informal Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18th in the Branch 5 Legion Club Room, 229 Van Norman St. from 1-4 pm. Please join us to share stories, memories and some of Lawrence’s favourite foods.
Cremation has taken place and Lawrence’s wife Sharyl will also be hosting a Celebration of Life later this Spring should anyone wish to attend.
