Mr. Leno Perozzo, age 80 years, resident of Twin City Crossroads, died at home Sunday, March 8, 2015.  Born and raised in the East End, Leno married the love of his life, Theresa Otto on October 18, 1958 and spent his entire life in Thunder Bay.

After working a few years at the Port Arthur ship yards, Leno worked the rest of his life at Great Lakes Paper until his retirement.  He enjoyed time spent at Shebandowan Lake each summer, smoking fish every fall, hunting and fishing all over Northern Ontario and fighting with his brother while working in the garage or around the yard and yet his best friend to the end.  Leno always looked forward to the crossword puzzles that came every Sunday in the newspaper and enjoyed his frequent visits to the casino.  Leno also enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and his great grandchildren.

Leno is survived by his special friend Ivy Wing, children Rick (Rita), Eugene, Tammy Salatino (John) and Wendy Zimmerman (Joe) as well as brothers Star, Lidio and Raymond and sister Lea.  Leno cherished his grandchildren John (Jackie), Tyler, Travis and Natalie as well as his great grandchildren Felix, Kierce and Matteo.  Nieces, nephews and other relatives will miss Leno’s gentle nature and unconditional love for all members within the family.
