Mr. Leon Orza, aged 84 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the TBRHSC.

He was born in Watros, Saskatchewan working at various locations pursuing his passion for logging and mechanical work. Leon retired at age 55 but continued to work and do what he loved and was so passionate about, mechanical work.

Leon enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed travelling in the 5th wheel with the love of his life Lillian visiting various places including Alaska and Texas.

Leon was a very willing participant with various volunteer activities and was a very integral part of the teams to which he was a member. He was always a very thoughtful, courteous and generous man and was always willing to go the extra mile to assist whenever needed. 

Survived by his life partner Lillian; children Kim (Tom), Kelly (Brad) and Tim (Christine); grandchildren Katrina, Trevor and Tyler; great grandson Karter. Predeceased by his mother Gladys, father John and siblings Elsie, Eileen, Vera, Ella, John and Don as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Leon Orza will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated. Special thank you to all the nurses that looked after him so well.
