Mr. Leonard Van Ballegooie of Pinewood Court passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 at 89 years of age.
Len worked hard all of his life at various jobs and business opportunities but his greatest passion was always cattle.
He was predeceased by his wife Jean in 2007, his brothers Peter (Henny) and Aart and sister Carly along with his parents.
Len is survived by daughter Roxanne Cooke and granddaughters Kristen Cooke (Kris) and Kelly Cooke (Aaron), son Mike (Tracey) with grandchildren Dustin (Kirsten, Ava & Nate), Shalena Wuthrich (Cameron) and Landon (Mallory & Grace). Len is also survived by his sister in law Leny and many nieces and nephews in Canada and in Holland, as well as his very close friends Bill Bus, Raymond Mousseau and Rhonda Davis who have been a tremendous support to our family in visiting and caring for Len.
We would like to say thank you to the staff at Pinewood court (Blue Heron wing) for their care of Len. As per Len’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral.
