Leslie Daigle, aged 83 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2018 with family by his side in Pinewood Court. Leslie worked many years at the tree farm then later transferred to the MNR as a carpenter.
He married Joan Barrie on September 1, 1953 and together they raised 5 children. They enjoyed many years at their camp at Bat Wing Lake.
Leslie is survived by his children Sharon, Neil (Sherry), Barrie (Tuula), Mike and Blair (Robin). Also survived by brothers Frank and Ed (Betty) Daigle; sisters Eleanor Martyn and Vivian (Jim) Gilmore; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Leslie was predeceased by his wife Joan (January 15, 2018) and grandson Ben (November 30, 2004).
As per Leslie’s wishes, there will be no service. A private interment will take place at a later date.
